1. Tickets and t-shirts in the same basket
Once your customers have chosen their online ticket, they can select the products and services that you have made available for sale online.
The interface is the same as the one displaying ticket sales and all purchases are done in one step. Once the order is placed in the basket the customer proceeds with their order as usual.
2. E-mail invoice
Once their order is placed your attendees receive their tickets and a summary of any products and services they ordered, as well as an invoice if they have requested one.
Your bookkeeping is made easier and you won’t have cash to deal with at your event.
3. Collection on the day of the event
You are informed in real time about the number of products and services to be distributed on the day of your event. The necessary stock is updated in real time in your ticketing software. Your attendee just shows up at your event’s collection point.
Main benefit: Easy management and certainty that all attendees will be there at the event, at the very least to collect their purchases.
4. From the planner’s point of view
As with our ticketing, we have made this as simple as possible. You know in advance and in real time the number of items to provide on the day of the event. You can manage your stock easily, using a simple export of attendees.
Online set-up only takes a few minutes: you create an item and its variations (e.g. T-shirts for men/women, sizes S, M, L, XL…) and then make it available online with the various features you want. Simply add it to one of your events using the search field.
Our cross-selling option is included and directly accessible from your Weezevent interface, make sure you make the most of it. Everything is explained in this article: Sell more than tickets using cross-selling.
5. Ideas for additional sales
To promote your brand at your event and provide you with additional income, here are a few ideas for products and services you can start selling ahead of your event:
- Clothes in your event’s branding
- A goody bag (pass, stickers, pen, tote-bag…)
- Sports equipment (swimming cap, knee-pads, bibs…)
- Spin-off products from your event (catalogue of the exhibition, poster…).
- Food and drinks to collect onsite
- A map or signed item
- Stationery (pens, pads, folders…).
- A valet service, a parking spot, priority access…
- A loyalty card
- Cashless top-up
- …
6. New possibilities
It is now possible to activate cross-selling only in the buyer form. This is the form the buyer fills in as they place their order, even if they are not attending the event themselves. The benefit? Additional items are only suggested to the buyer, rather than all attendees included in the order. For instance, this prevents you from suggesting purchasing a parking space to every family member attending your event, as they’ll only need one car.
