Weezevent continues its global expansion by partnering with the Department of Culture and Europe of the Berlin Senate, in collaboration with Kulturprojecte Berlin GmbH. Together, they aim to offer a €50 Youth Culture Card to all young Berliners aged 18 to 23, encouraging the exploration of the city’s cultural scene.

Simple and secure transactions

The process is straightforward: young Berliners can request a ticket online, which they then exchange for an NFC card at one of the many collection points across the city. Operating on the same principle as the Cashless payment system, this card allows them to use their credit at cultural venues in Berlin. The absence of cash ensures secure and reliable financial transactions while reducing the risk of fraud.

Used in over 150 cultural venues

With 200 Cashless terminals installed across the city by Weezevent, young residents of Berlin can easily and quickly access the 150 partner cultural venues. By simply using their NFC card, they can pay for entry in one gesture, significantly reducing waiting times at entrances and enhancing the overall visitor experience. Cashless payments make the whole process faster, smoother, and more convenient for everyone involved.

24/7 emergency call service: A first for the German team

This initiative also marked the first time the German team at Weezevent implemented an emergency call service, ready to assist users whenever necessary. For the first time, the service ran continuously for more than a month, offering 24/7 support. Thanks to this level of commitment by the whole team, the deployment ran without issues, offering peace of mind to both visitors and organisers alike.
