What’s new @ Weezevent – March 2026

Summary

🚀 New updates you should know about

    WeezPay

The latest feature of our cashless payment solution.

Access the full transaction history of a session: Operators with the required permissions can now view all transactions carried out during a session, making checks much easier. Previously, a receipt could only be generated for the most recent transaction. Now, sellers can create a receipt (printed, digital or e-mail) for any sale within the session. Each transaction can be reviewed in seconds, significantly reducing processing time in the event of a dispute.

Analyse your revenue by event rather than just by date: Thanks to session mode, you can automatically group all transactions linked to a specific event. Instead of filtering your reports by day or hour, you can now view the complete performance of an event in one place.

Allow attendees to leave a tip using their remaining balance: When attendees “empty their card” without making a purchase, they can now choose to leave a tip for the seller. The amount is logged as a dedicated transaction, with no associated item.

Target specific items for discounts: Apply a discount to a specific product, category or variant without affecting your entire menu. The discount is automatically applied to eligible items in the basket only. If no compatible product is added, it will not be triggered.

    WeezTicket

The latest features of our ticketing solution.

Easily embed a video on your mini-site: With this update, all YouTube links (including Shorts), as well as Dailymotion and Vimeo, are supported. The display on your mini-site automatically adjusts to match the highlighted content.

Enhanced security for your mini-site: To limit fraudulent emails and protect against spam, invisible captcha validation is now mandatory before a message can be sent via the mini-site’s “Contact” feature.

🤝 Kaboodle X Fallow Festival Fund

    Kaboodle X Fallow Festival Fund

Since 2020, more than 200 festivals have disappeared in the UK. Rising costs, tighter margins and increased operational pressure are putting festival cash flow under significant strain. To support organisers facing these challenges, the AIF has relaunched the Fallow Festival Fund, a programme designed to help festivals navigate a fallow year, a strategic pause to stabilise operations and prepare for a stronger return. Alongside Kaboodle, we are partnering with this initiative to help preserve the diversity and long-term sustainability of the UK’s live events landscape.

🏆 We’ve been nominated for a Ticketing Business Award!

We’ve been nominated for a Ticketing Business Award!

Together with Kaboodle, we have been nominated in the Guest Experience category for the direct impact of our booking journey on organiser performance. By redesigning the entire funnel, from booking through to on-site arrival, the Kaboodle Booking Portal improves conversion rates, increases average order value and simplifies post-purchase management. A smoother journey for attendees, stronger performance for organisers.
