🚀 A record-breaking month with Weezevent
What a month it’s been. Across Europe, our teams have been working day and night to support some of the biggest festivals on the continent: Tomorrowland 🇧🇪, Gurtenfestival 🇨🇭, Dour 🇧🇪, Garorock 🇫🇷, Les Ardentes 🇧🇪, Rock Werchter 🇧🇪, Paléo Festival 🇨🇭, … you name it, we were there.
With over 30.000 devices deployed and over 21 million transactions processed, this was our most ambitious rollout to date. From ticketing and access control to cashless payments and crew management, Weezevent tech kept everything running smooth.
We reached new heights in scale and impact: and for a moment, it felt like the entire European festival scene was turning blue. We certainly saw it that way!
♻️ Smart cup management at Tomorrowland
At one of the world’s biggest festivals, we delivered a fully cashless setup combined with smart cup management. Each reusable cup was linked to the attendee’s cashless account, enabling fast, automated refunds at dedicated return points.
This made the experience smoother for visitors, reduced staffing needs, and eliminated cup loss. Tomorrowland gained better data, more control, and a future-proof way to make their event more sustainable.

Smart seating for session-based events: Sell tickets for seated events across multiple time slots with our new seating with sessions mode: perfect for theatres, talks, or recurring shows. This upgrade lets you offer a smooth booking experience through a calendar view, while keeping full control over seating and inventory per session.
WeezPay
The latest feature of our cashless payment solution.
Discounts made easy: Empower your sales team with a simple way to apply discounts directly at the point of sale. No need to duplicate products or set up complex pricing, just tap to apply a fixed amount (like -€5), a percentage, or even a custom value.
You decide in advance what’s allowed, so your team only sees the options you’ve approved. This keeps the process fast and flexible, without opening the door to errors or fraud.
WeezCrew
The latest feature of our accreditation management solution.
Smarter notifications: Stay in control with improved targeting! You can now choose exactly who receives your automated messages: whether it’s team leaders, specific roles, or individual members. Just set up your message, define your group, and decide who gets notified.
Example: Let team leads know when someone registers, or alert them if an email bounces.
Clearer overviews and improved documents: You can now create a photo directory with each member’s picture, name, and phone number to show twice as many people per page. The new accreditation view makes it easy to follow up on requests, assigned accreditations, and remaining quota from both the delegation page and team area.
Command bar for quick actions: We’ve added a new shortcut to help you work faster in WeezCrew. From any page, you can now search for a member or create things like missions, accreditations, and campaigns in just a few clicks. Use the Command Bar on the left side, or press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows), to save time and keep things moving.

As we leap past the halfway point of the summer season, there’s one thing we know for sure: none of this would be possible without our incredible crew.
Supporting our project managers on site, our 400+ crew members have been essential in every rollout. Checking devices, troubleshooting, managing flows, and stepping in wherever needed. Their dedication, energy, and problem-solving mindset are what keep the show running.
