What’s new @ Weezevent – December 2025

Summary

    ⚡ Our latest product features

    WeezTicket

The latest features of our ticketing solution.

Customise how you see your attendees: The Attendees & Orders Manager page is now more customisable. You can choose which columns to display and arrange them in any order. This helps you focus on the details that matter most, such as partner names, member codes, order languages or attendee IDs. It gives your team a cleaner view and speeds up daily tasks. Simply click the three dots next to the search bar to show or hide fields.

    Weezticket smart table

Collect the right data without hurting conversion: You can now ask participants to fill in certain information after their purchase in order to access their ticket. This approach simplifies the form at the time of payment, improves conversion rates and allows you to collect useful data without impacting your sales. The fields displayed in the buyer area are fully customisable and independent of the ticketing form. This is a valuable feature for getting to know your audience better and anticipating their needs, whatever the nature of your event.
Activate this feature through your project manager.

Show category colours in your 3D seating plan: You can now display each zone in your 3D seating plan with a category colour, making it easier for buyers to see which category applies to which zone. Simply activate ‘show category colour’ in the zone settings. If it is turned off, the zone will appear in the main module colour as before.

Display only the social networks that matter on your mini-site: You can now select which social networks appear on your minisite, so you highlight only the channels that actually drive interest and ticket sales. The ‘Follow us’ block has a refreshed design, and WhatsApp and Telegram are now available to help you boost visibility and encourage sharing.

Automatically remove refunded tickets with Buyer Protection: WeezTicket now deletes tickets as soon as Protect Group confirms a refund. This keeps your attendee list accurate and prevents refunded tickets from still appearing as active. A note is displayed on the attendee page when a deletion occurs due to a refund. Remember that a deleted ticket releases quota and can be sold again if the rate is still active.

    WeezAccess

The latest feature of our access control solution.

Refine your audience analysis with ticket-type filtering: A new filter in your WeezAccess back office allows you to sort your scan statistics by ticket value, whether paid or free. This makes it easier to distinguish between buyers, guests, partners, and other groups. You can generate more detailed reports and understand your no-show rate with greater accuracy for each ticket type. It is a simple way to analyse behaviour across different audiences and improve both live monitoring and post-event reporting.

    WeezPay

The latest feature of our cashless payment solution.

Get a clearer view of your cashless activities: WeezPay now lets you reorder and show or hide columns on the products and sales locations pages, giving you a cleaner overview of your cashless items and sales. Click the three dots next to your search bar to adjust your view.

More control over tax permissions in WeezPay: The taxes module now offers more detailed permission levels. You can choose who may view, export, or configure fiscal information, limiting sensitive actions to trained users. This helps you protect your financial setup, reduce errors, and more easily meet each country’s requirements.

💜 Recap of the 4th Edition of the WeezDays #Crew

At the end of November, we welcomed the WeezDays #Crew to our office in Paris, bringing together volunteer and accreditation coordinators to reflect on their day-to-day challenges. The programme explored important topics such as attracting and retaining volunteers, protecting personal data, automating on-site processes and improving accreditation workflows. More than 64 organisations were represented at the event, and some of them shared valuable insights drawn from their own operational experience.

👏 Thank you to everyone who took part for the quality of the conversations and the energy you brought to the day.

🇩🇪 Danke Future of Festivals and see you next year!

The 2025 edition of FUTURE OF FESTIVALS has come to an end. This year has been one of the best. We welcomed more visitors and held over 60 in-depth conversations with organisers about the logistical needs of their events, an increase of more than 50% compared with the 2024 edition.

2 key themes emerged during this year’s event: the need for smoother integrations between systems, enabling frictionless data flow, and the demand for faster on-site cashless deployment.

Whether we were speaking with long-standing clients or new prospects, the message was the same, efficiency during peaks in ticketing, access control and cashless is becoming a major priority for 2026.

    See you next year!

Danke Berlin. Een sterk jaar voor Belgische eventtech

✨ Double win at the Event Technology Awards for Weezevent & Kaboodle

The Weezevent Group took home two awards at the 2025 Event Technology Awards in the UK:

    🏆 Best Festival Technology

This award celebrates the strength and consistency of our integrated suite of tools that support festivals throughout their entire journey: ticketing, access control, cashless payments, accreditation and on-site operations. Our approach has always been the same. We reduce operational complexity, connect essential components and help organisers achieve greater clarity and efficiency at every stage of their event.

We are thankful for this recognition, which highlights not only the technology but also the people behind it who work every day to support organisers.

🏆 Best Technology Partnership with Kaboodle

For this award, Weezevent showcased its deployment at the 2025 edition of Boomtown in collaboration with Kaboodle, supported by key figures: 1,000 RFID cashless terminals installed, 400 scanners running in offline conditions, 18,800 post-purchase items added via Kaboodle customer accounts, and 42 people mobilised on site.

The formalisation of our partnership in 2025 enabled us to build a unified platform that brings together a complete ecosystem: purchase and upsell journeys, cashless payment management, access control and pairing, behavioural data analysis, and end-to-end operational supervision of the event. It is this fully integrated and harmonised architecture, designed to give organisers a complete and connected experience, that convinced the jury.

We are thankful for the strength of this collaboration. It is the result of shared work, constant communication and trust on both sides.

💡How data shaped Boomtown Unboxed, winner of Tech Innovation of the Year

Boomtown won the Tech Innovation of the Year award at the UK Festival Awards for its project Boomtown Unboxed. We are honoured to have contributed to such an inventive and ambitious initiative.

Boomtown Unboxed is an interactive, gamified experience that uses real on-site behaviour to shape each participant’s personal journey. Scan points, in-app decisions and cashless interactions feed into a narrative that unfolds differently for every attendee.

By combining ticketing, access control, and cashless payments into a single closed-loop ecosystem, Boomtown created a fully connected adventure for its 77,000 participants. Each action became part of the story, allowing the festival to design meaningful, personalised experiences on a large scale.

This approach also delivered clear value for partners and sponsors, with behavioural insights that went far beyond basic attendance figures. It showed how integrated data can support both creative storytelling and measurable results.
