A record summer for cashless

With the sum­mer event sea­son in full swing, we can already announce record num­bers relat­ed to the deploy­ment of our cash­less solution.

Dur­ing this first half of the sum­mer, more than 200 events have already imple­ment­ed Weez­Pay, our cash­less tech­nol­o­gy. Our sup­port has extend­ed to more than 10 coun­tries, includ­ing France, Bel­gium, Spain, Switzer­land, the UK, the Nether­lands, Ger­many, Aus­tria, Por­tu­gal and Cana­da, mak­ing Weezevent the most influ­en­tial cash­less actor.

With more than 30 mil­lion euros in cash­less trans­ac­tions in only 2 months, this has been the high­est lev­el of activ­i­ty in our history.

This suc­cess tes­ti­fies to the dynamism of live events and the mas­sive and bor­der­less adop­tion of cash­less in the wake of the pandemic

Since our first cash­less event in 2015, we have con­stant­ly invest­ed in the devel­op­ment and improve­ment of this tech­nol­o­gy. This invest­ment comes with the recruit­ment of 120 Weezevent experts who work close­ly with event organ­is­ers in the deploy­ment of a pow­er­ful soft­ware suite com­bin­ing tick­et­ing, cash­less and access con­trol. All mak­ing use of more than 35,000 state of the art ter­mi­nals.

This dema­te­ri­alised pay­ment method was deployed at sev­er­al major sum­mer events: Paleo Fes­ti­val in Switzer­land, Ed Sheer­an and Les Ardentes in Bel­gium, Hellfest and Vieilles Char­rues in France, Inter­stel­lar and Cruïl­la in Spain, Boom Fes­ti­val in Por­tu­gal, Novarock in Aus­tria, and Splash Fes­ti­val in Germany.
