Weezevent is looking for a Logistics Assistant (M/For ) based in Antwerp for the summer season.This is a fixed-term position with a duration of 6 months from April to September. Both a freelance and employee contract are possible.
Misiones
The Logistics Assistant is responsible for preparing, sending and receiving our gear to/from the event venues where we work in Belgium and abroad. As a Logistics Assistant you will work closely with our local Logistics Team and Project Managers, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager of our office in Antwerp. This is an exciting position as you will have the chance of working in a small and dynamic team, realising a variety of tasks covering the entire process of our deliveries, with the possibility of joining our team onsite at different music festivals or sport events.
Main tasks
- Prepare the bookings of gear submitted by our Project Managers
- Organise pickups and returns of parcels
- Following-up shipments done by DHL/UPS or local transport companies
- Realising transports at events venues in Belgium
- Ensure the cleanliness and the proper functioning of all our gear
- Charging and configuring every device leaving from the office
- Preparing the side gear needed at the events
- Ordering and cleaning the equipment returning from events
- Regularly updating the devices’ operating software
- Doing minor fixing and relabelling of devices and suitcases
- Ensure the tidiness of the warehouse
- Maintaining the stock in good order
- Doing regular stock inventories
Perfil requerido
We’re looking for a young and dynamic person, willing to learn about our product and internal processes, and to work with responsibility and an open mind. As you’ll be doing a variety of tasks, you should be hands-on and have a problem-solving approach. In the event sector we face a lot of unexpected situations and the workload changes according to the needs of each week, so we need someone able to work with a flexible schedule.
